Structure |
The stainless steel tube is hermetically sealed by seamless welding and is surrounded by single or double layers of metal wires. The tube is filled with water resistant gel. This tube provides complete protection to the fibers from longitudinal and lateral water/moisture ingress. The interstices in between the stainless steel tube and the metal wires are filled with anticorrosive grease for protection from corrosion. |

Characteristics:
a. Larger cable diameter and fiber capacity;
b. Larger tensile strength and short-circuit current capacity to reach a better balance of electrical and mechanical performance;
c. The quantity of stainless steel tube could be 1, 2 or 3;
d. Optimum stranding design to reach a suitable secondary fiber excess length;
e. The stranded layers could be double layers or three layers, the stranded wires could be all ACS wires or ACS combined with AA wires.
